Positive Evening Affirmation - Anxiety and Depre...
Positive Evening Affirmation
Thank you fot that, it makes my day!!
I think I’ll make it a nightly thing, just drop some of my favorite mantras/quotes.. thoughts?
Your quote is defenitly powerfull and vibrant, fills me whit hope and vitality.
I´m just curious about the last line "say amen" Why do you think that spirituality is so important in this quote?
Do you think that for overcome situations like anxiety or depression is necessary a powerfull faith in spirituality?
No, I don’t believe this at all actually.
While I do believe that my faith base, and a strong belief in God has helped me through, I am completely understanding that religion is not for everyone.
Actually, as a bit of back story, I was raised by a devout Christian mother, and an atheist father..
My faith was something I was given the option to choose. And I believe that while my God has given me strength, I am still in control of overcoming my ongoing battle.
With that being said, I find that if you aren’t religious and choose to cut the amen off of the end, this message is still powerful and has helped me, religion or not. It’s about finding what works best for you!
Thank you. I am going to read this daily. Hoping I can change my self talk! My mind races with negative thoughts of not good enough, shame, guilt, because my depression and feeling anxious have more power over me than I have strength to overpower. I am on medicine, talking with my therapist, reading, praying, walking and home alone all day. I can talk with my husband yet dont see him until 5 or 6 each week night. Been on medical leave from work since April 1st...I just kept crying and my husband couldn't get to work. Trying to take it one day at a time. It is difficult with such isolation.
