I’m new here and posted yesterday regarding getting out of bed. You all gave me a lot of support and a lot of good tips which I am forever grateful for, thank you!
I got out of bed this morning feeling absolutely awful and took a shower immediately and felt a bit better. Then I went out with my sister to get some groceries and it felt good to be out in the world even if it is weird right now.
I also did some laundry. I tried not to think about doing stuff because then I wouldn’t do it - I just did it. I also gave myself a hug for all my little victories today. I feel a little better and I’m so grateful for that. Thank you everyone! I hope you’re all doing ok ❤️

Hi. I had the same problem. Always waking up feeling awful, tired. What I've found to be working for me is meditation and yoga. Also, the amount of time spent on my phone really influences the way I feel. I turned off my phone for a week and let me say I've never felt more energized. Meditating in the morning really helps and if you have time, yoga right after meditation can make a change
too.
I think that the way you feel when you wake up may be determined by how you've spent the day before. Eg: if I had an active day, I'm waking up energized today, otherwise it's the opposite. At least for me.
I know motivational quotes may be clichee but my favourite one is "Every moment of your life is the best moment of your life" and it really helps me keep going even when I don't feel like it. If I wake up feeling worse than usual, I meditate and I keep thiking about this, about the fact that I want to live a joyous life, and if I'm living why not make the best of it, because we only have one life as we are.
Hi Confused000, thank you so much for your post, I love hearing how different people cope.
I actually just decided today that I was going to start meditating tomorrow morning, just for a few minutes to start and then build it up. I’m not sure I can handle Yoga right now but maybe later if/when I’m feeling up to it.
I feel like I’ll either kill myself or I can fight and honestly, I don’t want to die, I just want the pain to go away and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen.
I’m so glad you found something that works for you - I hope you find all the peace you deserve.
It is amazing how baby steps sometimes can change our whole outlook. It's finally warming up here, so I'm out and about tomorrow in the garden...it's going to be a great growing year....and I need to lose my winter padding....
