There’s a little light shining through

Since I always write about my bad days and about my struggles, I thought I’d share that today, I’m having a good day 😊

The sun is out; I’ve been out for a walk and bike ride; spending time with my little niece and just felt more content with myself.

That’s the view from my kitchen window.

I’m realizing all the things I have to be thankful for.

I know I’ll have bad days and I’ll know there will be days I’ll be down (I’m sure you’ll hear about those lol)

Thank you to those of you who have helped me through some dark days.

I’ll try looking for the positives every day. I’m still struggling but I’m trying and that’s all any of us can do....

Try!

That is a huge step forward! I knew you could do it! I believe you can control your emotional destiny somewhat. Keep up the excellent work!

You're welcome! That kind of help I like to give! Your pic is awesome.

Now here's a big question....Can my group use your essay & your pic....Plus, would you be willing to write more stuff and take more pics for us as part of our family of writers & friends.

There are 2 people you especially need to meet. Krn210, is around 35 and one of the sweetest people you will could know. You would love her!

Dreamer720 is 31 and a lovely, young spirited lady. While K, is a long time friend of mine here, Dreamer is a fairly new friend of mine, who calls me her Night Owl Dad.

My lady, BonnieSue + our chief editor, Lilyannepuppy, would also make good friends for you!

You'll like everyone who shows up because we are good, kind people who enjoy each others company, love helping others, love writing and various other art forms + music & just love being an extended family for each other.

You will find that if you fully join my world, it's a lot harder to be lonely!

It is quite the view! And it’s calm and peacefully. I can open my bedroom window at night and hear the waves crashing on the beach just feel from my house. I’m learning to appreciate the small things and things I’ve been taking for granted.

That’s truly amazing… Where is that?

It’s in Newfoundland, Canada 🇨🇦

in reply toBrownEyesBlue

That is really wonderful. Just one step at a time. The beauty of nature can truly be calming.

Nature is calming because… It is both powerful and peaceful at the same time… And continues to exist... Long after us without wondering…If I could come back as something it would be the ocean

in reply toDaisymom

Oh that is so beautiful. I love the ocean. I wished I lived near one so I can see what you see every day just beyond my window. :) But all I mostly see are buildings and houses and never endless traffic. Really stressful. Hehe.

I grew up here. And I moved to the city but I disliked it. I missed the ocean; the landscape. The city was too fast paced for me. I like simple; the slow pace of a small town.

in reply toBrownEyesBlue

True. The city's so fast paced. Not helping with my depression too.

I had a complete breakdown while I lived there. It just wasn’t for me.

I feel you on that. Glad your doing okey now. :)
