I'm struggling ( who isn't) to see how I can return to normal after this.
Not so much the Coronavirus but the changes that it's brought about
I've lost what I thought everything was about.
I have spent most of my life trying to help, assist and appease others, usually without reward, but in this crisis I've seen greed and inconsideration in others and haven't liked it.
I want to cultivate a "me first" persona now, but i don't believe I can do it, I need someone to push me over the edge! (Either that or I need my faith in humanity restoring

Yes Why not be Both. First you have to take good care of yourself, to be able to help others. And yes there are the morons out there, always has been, always will be, ignore them. I do, they make me sick, but I cannot change them. Be proud of yourself you are a giver, it is people like you that make life worthwhile, and the world needs more of you. I am just shy of 78 so am house bound, but I do email, (i.e. like now trying to help you), phone calls it is all worth while. We can only do what we can do. So listen to your body, feed it when it is hungry, rest when you are tired, get some exercise if you can and enjoy being who you are, a worth while, generous caring person. Thank You for Being You......Sprinkle 1...
Sometimes we give too much of ourselves, and end up with no batteries to keep our own selves going. It’s easy to be kind but keep something back. People can , and sometimes do ,take advantages of a Kind nature. Even loved ones. Because they expect it from you. But strangers or friends. Well they need to be nurtured by them more. Be you, be kind and caring, but don’t let them use you as a door mat or give so much that you end up ill or depressed. You sound like a wonderful caring person. Be safe be happy 😊
