Adults be like that sometimes

My mom has never taken my mental health seriously. My grades have dropped to the point that I've literally gotten a 9. For the past few years, leaving my room and doing normal every day stuff has been difficult. My mom likes to blame everything on my age. What really bothers me is she enjoys mocking me for crying and being suicidal in the past. I cry almost every day and it's only getting worse. I just wish she understood and she wasn't so mean.

Oh dear. I was wondering if you are 16 or over as this would affect any advice we can give you.

I’m so sorry to hear that, love. Your mother shouldn’t be doing that to you, of all people! Have you talked to her about how she makes you feel? Maybe she doesn’t understand the impact she has or maybe she’s reacting out of helplessness not knowing what to do in the situation? Hope you have someone you are close to talk to! We’re always here as well. D
