Does being alone trigger anyone else? After practicing avoidance behavior for so long I don’t stay home alone, drive alone, I can’t even travel on highways. This has been so annoying especially being a person who enjoys alone time and traveling ☹️ any tips?

Can’t be alone
Get a puppy. You're alone and not alone at the same time. Thats just the first thing I thought of because It helped me.
Thank you ❤️ I thought about that
Dogs are super helpful and comforting!
They key to doing anything and overcoming anything is to build mastery over it. Find some stuff you can do alone that you enjoy. Force yourself to be alone a little at a time every day and build up to a day. Baby steps. Adopt a dog, take the dog for a walk by yourself. Go for a bike ride in a state park by yourself or even walk a trail there. I would talk to your therapist about getting a service dog or an emotional support animal. Look for a dog at a shelter that you instantly connect with. Shelter dogs are also more likely to stick to your side and are very loyal because they’ve been stuck behind bars. Make your passanger seat their seat. I wouldn’t recommend a puppy though.
Thank you so much Sunflowergoddess(love the name❤️) I will try this and update you. Unfortunately because I no longer work I don’t have a therapist anymore ☹️
