Is anyone else terrified and paranoid about this virus? And of course on top of that a cold went thru our home and I'm still kinda freaked out by that. I cant eat, cant sleep, and cry all the time. Can someone please talk to me?

It's all going to be okay. Limit any news watching to 30 minutes a day. Take this self isolation time to practice self care. Try to stay busy. That's just a few ideas. This too shall pass...
I understand what you're going through! When I find myself overthinking and worrying, I try to stop those scary thoughts and redirect my thoughts to the things I have the power to change. In this case, following the advice we've been receiving from the CDC. Hang in there, we're in this together!
hi I had a good old cold a couple of weeks ago but I thought it was important for me not to link it with the virus.we struggle enough and its important not to give ourselves even greater worry.if we follow the guidelines set out to us most of us will be ok.
It's natural to be scared of a pandemic, especially when a lot of people are reacting as dramatically as you have to the news and the progression surrounding the disease. However, most diseases we are exposed to are obliterated by our immune systems and on top of that, the more you get sick for the time beings (not necessarily snogging infected patients) the stronger and more resilient you yourself get to even more diseases. Even if you were to get disproportionately sick, you're surrounded by a loving community and experienced healthcare professionals fully capable of supporting your recovery, no matter what your affliction in case of such.
I too am paranoid about the virus. I obsess over it, and sometimes have trouble sleeping because of it. I don't have a lot of answers (sorry), but please know that you are not alone.
Same! It's a lot to take on. I try to limit my news exposure and find things to laugh at. Just know that this will eventually end and things will get better but its perfectly valid to feel the way you're feeling. I hope this helps!
