Hey guys. Has anyone experiences excess sweating with a sertraline dose increase? I am still laddering up (just started 150mg/day a few days ago) and I’ve noticed an increase in anxiety and sweating that I didn’t have at 100mg. Will this go away once my body adjusts or is this going to be the new norm. I was previously on venlaflaxine and had the same problem so I switched.
Thank you in advance

I have also experienced excessive sweating, especially at night in bed. It has been happening so often that I thought I may be going into the menopause early! I can't really offer any advice, but it is interesting to consider sertraline as the cause.
I had my dose changed about a lot, and the anxiety does settle...eventually. I still have some major anxiety, but it is associated with certain things, and I am learning to control it, or sometimes just go with it. The sertraline seems to have calmed the unpredictable anxiety, so hopefully you will feel better once your body adjusts.
I've been prescribed to increase my dose of sertraline from 50mg a day to 100mg to reduce my peri-menopause (I'm 45 and have had blood tests to be sure) symptoms of sweats, so I'm not sure about the sertraline causing the sweats, but everyone is different?
