Yes aren't they great. I must live in a warmer climate than you do, mine are up 4/5 inches already, I have been out watering them today!!! Thanks for the lovey photo. Spring is on its way, I love spring, I even become more alive when it is spring. Keep on growing.....Love & Hugs....Sprinkle 1.....
Got bulbs and Daffodils coming up all over the place, primrose, sweet williams, all coming up and blooming...this is going to be a good spring...and a little warmer weather does wonders for the spirits. I'm almost ready to get out there...fresh air, hanging out with our mouser cats and the brothers dog over for a visit...yep...it's good to just turn off the world for a while.
It is good to turn off stuff and just get outside into perfect HD beauty all around u for free! Your garden sounds beautiful and happy. So many happy looking flowers... primrose smells so fresh eh? π
We've been working on it for years...it's just a hodge podge country garden of this and that, trying different things each year to see what just comes back on it's own, mostly things on sale or for free...we buy a few packets of seed, some chicken poo pellets, and off we go. I have to say though, this year is going to be spectacular...soon I'll post a pic. of our garden...I'm excited about the prospects. Last year we had a late snow and it killed off our new blooms...but so far so good!
Thatβs all a garden is for me... lol I try and βoutsmartβ chipmunks and squirrels yearly.. my only down time for this during winter.π Iβve tried encasing the bulbs in a chicken wire box of sorts this year... Iβve won I think from bulb thieves. Blooms are harder to protect... dogs can be unreliable in protection as they will not sleep outside in front of them...π Deer are sneaky too.. π
Itβs all trial and error and outsmarting wild life in my case... lol I enjoy it all personally.
One year we had this new variety of cabbage, supposed to be slug repellent. So they were just about ready to harvest and we went out to find, half of each cabbage had been munched on. Bunnies....
