I was on Cymbalta for about 4 years and it worked pretty good for me.

It made my blood very thin so I bruised really bad and easy. Waxed my legs and ended up looking like my shins had been beaten with a 2x4..

Makes some sense since you can’t use it with Warfarin. Your case sounds very rare.

I react weird /allergic to lots of meds but it’s not rare apparently.....

It makes my skin very thin, also. I've always bruised easily, but now a bruise looks like a mini- hematoma. Plus menopause also thinned my skin. Biotin helps a lot. I take it in supplement form.

I was on cymbalta for about 8 years and it really worked well for me until my latest episode when they decided to switch it up.

I am new to cymbalta, I started it last Sept, first on 20 mg, I felt an improvement, talked with my Dr. she increased it to 50 mg. Oh such joy, I got myself back. I am fully functioning and hope and pray it stays that way. I wish you well, let us know how you are doing, we care and love you...Sprinkle 1 with love and hugs.....

I certainly am not trying to scare anyone bc every one reacts differently but I thought I’d share my experience. I was good on it for about a year and then I started getting bouts of vertigo that increased in severity over time. My dr wouldn’t believe me that it was the Cymbalta. I was finally bed ridden for over a month til I got off of it cold turkey. I know my case is probably extreme and my dr didn’t help at all. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I hope it works for you! Keep us posted!

Wow I’m glad I checked back here because I am having Vertigo! I’m 30 days in and vertigo just came on strong. Maybe partly due to attivan in combo?

My vertigo set in very slowly at first throughout the first year I was in cymbalta. I think I was on gabapentin as well. Whatever is the cause for you I’m sorry you’re experiencing it bc vertigo is awful!
