Can this happen
It's highly unlikely that you'll have a heart attack, sure does feel like it though... of course I am not a Dr., when this happens do slow breathing in through your nose count to 5 then out through your mouth counting to 5 , keep doing it...it really does help!
I was an agoraphobic for years... the only way for me to get over it was to force myself to go places and I did just that... when the experience was positive..I would take that with me for the next time....the best part is I got over it finally and feels so good to be a victor over it...
I wish you all the best... let me know how you're doing, okay?

My daughter has been complaining about her heart racing the past couple of years. I didn't know what to make of it, so I bought her a fitbit as a gift. She plays sports anyway so it's kind of fun for her to have.
One day she complained of her heart and we checked her fitbit. It was unusually high. The doctor ran some tests and it came back negative for any major known illnesses.
But a couple of weeks ago, we went to ER because her heart rate shot up while she had the flu and she could barely move. When I told the EMT about the fitbit rate, they immediately measured her blood pressure and hooked her up to an IV.
She ended up being hospitalized, but the fitbit came in handy. It would have been very easy to dismiss her and send her home without it. A week later, another girl died from cardiac arrest from the flu in the same hospital we were at.
So very long story short, maybe get a fitbit for a peace of mind. It's kind of a cool gadget anyway. I checked it against the heart monitors at the hospital and it was very accurate.
No you will not have a heart attack and you will not die it would be good to have your heart checked like an echocardiogram to make sure your heart is working properly.
I understand agoraphobia I suffer from that as well and you have to force yourself to be part of your health plan or goals 😉
Thanks everyone
