It’s 1:30 PM, I’ve been just laying in bed for 30 minutes thinking as usual, i want to postpone the waking up process as long as possible, sometimes i just don’t want to exist, I’m not sleepy but i could hibernate for another 2 hours. That’s what I usually do anyway, but today I’m gonna force myself to get up and do something so I wouldn’t think anymore.

How do you distract yourself from Overthinking?

I personally enjoy thinking, but one way to stop is to do something you enjoy. I enjoy reading and watching movies and that gets my mind off things pretty quickly. You could also run. When you run, it's hard to think and it gets you in shape

I used to distract myself by playing video games, to which people said “is not healthy way to cope with stress”, but i guess whatever makes you forget and not think is okay, i too watch movies to stop myself from thinking for some time.
Thanks for your suggestions!
Thanks for explaining, i guess you’re right, but for me it’s not an addiction tho I don’t do it all the time, just to occupy my mind, for example i can go for months without even thinking about playing games, or watching movies.
I feel that too, if I avoid getting out of bed I avoid all the problems waiting for me is my irrational logic. I've been struggling today. Made tacos, on the couch with my cat right now and watching my neighbor Totoro. Trying to be nice to myself is hard because I feel guilty for not doing more.
