Inner child, lots of fun

First let me explain my spoiled dog. She rescued us when she was a year old and had always run in a fenced yard. We have a large yard but no fence so she goes outside on a run. At first I had to go outside with her while she got used to it. Six years have passed and she won't go out without me. This morning it was snowing and I don't know why but I started playing in the snow. First I tried to catch snowflakes on my hand then I made some small snowballs and threw them for the dog to chase. It was wonderful! The next time someone tells me to give up my inner child I will smile and tell them not a chance. I hope all of you have a few minutes to play today. HAPPY MONDAY!

You have a beautiful dog.

I believe that no matter how old we are, that inner child will still be forever within ourselves. I would never give that up.

Oh I sure would love to play with my pet cats too. :)

I have always told my children to never completely give up their inner child. My son listened better than my daughter. Sometimes the two of us get silly and have a great time. We still color Easter eggs every year.

Awww that is wonderful. A good bonding with your children too. Coloring is a good therapy to. :)

I color with gel pens. Some are plain, some sparkle and a few are metallic. Bright and colorful. Sometimes the coloring even inspires a mosaic project.

Awe. 🌺❤️

My chocolate lab has this ball she’s always carrying around like Linus did his blanket. Ready at any moment to play, she’s always in the same mood, uplifting, she’s fun and if I’m not in a great mood, instantly lifts me and I cannot help but roll around in the yard with her like I’m a dog too. I’ve got cats too, I run around the house and play with cat toys and laser light chasing. One likes for me to hide so she can sneak up on me. Hide and seek with a cat, who knew!

Never give up the inner playful child in us. I’m almost 52, I hope I never lose it.

Love it! I'm 56 and play with the dog and cat all the time. They play together too. So funny to watch them chase each other around the house.
