Hi there! I’m a 23 y.o. female who just graduated college and is suffering from ongoing anxiety and depression. I’m currently going through CBT and it’s a struggle being my own support system. I hope that this might be another place where I can feel I’m not alone in trying to “adult” (feed myself, pay bills, etc.) while treating my illness. I don’t have a very mentally- or emotionally-supportive family; their pressures and expectations combined with an inability to empathize is another complication. While I’m very private with my inner world, I really do need some peers who understand what this is all like.

Welcome! I’m the same age as you, and you’re definitely not alone in this. I’m in a similar situation but I’m on my own and I don’t have a support system but I’m hanging in there. You can talk about whatever is bothering you on here, if you need someone to talk to I’m here
