Hello everyone today I woke up feeling very overwhelmed. Been trying to establish healthy coping mechanisms. So I was just wondering if you guys wanted to share what you do to cope on those extra hard days when you’re feeling on edge?

I love my 'gratitude rock", its just a pebble from the side of the road that I now have strategically placed within my home where I say to myself every time it catches my eye:; "I'm grateful for the things I DO have"...... Etc it helps to flush out those negative moments that we all can be victims of. Hope that helps
I love this! I’m gonna try it. Already found my rock. I constantly fight to remember to be grateful for what I do have in those moments of crisis.
I have to leave. If I’m overwhelmed, stuck on idle with my thoughts, I need to get out, walk, exercise, music, something to move my mind off it and get rid of excess or nervous energy ie anxiety for me.
Phone a friend, getting it out on the table is a release too, I also have pets. 2 cats and 2 dogs. A walk, play or just holding them releases a ton of tension.
Been trying this everyday but lately I’ve been waking up around 4am imploding in negative emotions. At the moment it feels like I can’t even move and its so early I got nothing to do
