Any advice for what to do when your at your lowest point?
What type of things have you done in the past that you have found helpful. You could look at distress tolerance that is part of dbt. It deals with coping methods for thoughts and feelings that are overwhelming. I’ve found that it sometimes just takes a period of time to recover. Did something happen recently to trigger your low mood.
❤️ being able to talk about things openly! Acknowledging your feelings which is the first step which you did and that’s great!
I do something completely different and I try to find something I’ve never done before. Last month I did some really crazy stuff.
I don’t really like watching stand up comedy unless I’m in the pub but I watch a few clips on Netflix. It helps. I have to give the credit for that coping skill to another group member.
There’s always shopping therapy. Just leave the tags on so you can take it back.

When I get Really down, I try to at least get out in the yard for fresh air. I read my list of things that I have accomplished. It reminds me that I do have the power to overcome the Blues. It also reminds me that I will feel better. ( Because when I get down, I have a tendency to think I always have been, and always will be hopeless and depressed) I Know you will find answers here, even if they aren't mine!
