I did good today. It wasn’t anything big or anything special, but it was enough. I’ve been stressed from work, theres a lot of pressure for me to do good and I’ve been in a rut lately, but today I did good! And aside from the positive reinforcement I received, I gave myself some positive reinforcement.
Instead of having the usual panic attack in the morning literally dragging myself to work, before I got to the point of having my meltdown I tried a different approach. I faked feeling okay, and told myself I was going to do great and I was worth it no matter how much it hurt to say it and no matter how much I didn’t believe it. I said it over and over again, and tried deep breathing. It didn’t create a miracle BUT it was enough to bring my anxiety down a notch and make the day bearable for myself.
Anyone else have a different approach to anything they did today that helped? Even in the tiniest way possible?
