First post. Taking one moment at a time,it works not just a corny phrase. Holidays are getting more and more less significant in a good way as family wants nothing to do with my illness episodes or the prospect of another. Suffering can lead to enlightenment and anyone out there that feels it will never get better or even great I can tell you I have been as low as humanly possible and am now healthier than I ever could have imagined.

Yes I can relate to your post. Having been so low tried to kill myself twice. Made myself a promise after my last failure, never again - not an option. I have battled my illness off/on all my life. Just come out of a 3 year battle, it feels great to be alive and fully functioning, hope
it lasts the rest of my life. So take heart anyone who reads these posts, we can, and we do come thru. If you are down right now, we are with you in spirit, we care and we love you.
Sending you strength, courage, peace, love and hugs.....Sprinkle 1....
Your reply has had a deep effect on me. You use the term take heart and that is where it hit. This is the first reply as I just joined and only the second time in 40 yrs of battle I have connected with another doing the same. I too tried suicide twice and do not know how I did not die also 7 hospitalizations up to 30 days each. My last episode was 2013 but since then I started therapy for the first time, severed 4 very toxic relationships, volunteered for SA,part time work, dropped 25lbs,lift weights, run and hit the golf ball 5-6 days a week. I do not brag as a rule but hope to encourage only. The toxic "freindships" I ended played a major part in recovery and were the piece that drove me to want to leave this life. Never again will I stand for that type of treatment and have demonstrated it when called for and feel great about it. Thank you so much for your reply and carry on. I would be remiss if I did not share a very important and therapeutical book: The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
