Went doctors

So I went to the doctors today about my fast heart rate and he said sounded fine but said I could get a ecg next week and has prescribed me beta blockers and I’m 16

Sounds to me like you may have high blood pressure. Not a bad idea to get an ECG to see how your heart is working. I wonder what's causing your high blood pressure? Did the doc suggest ways of reducing it. Do you have a family history of high blood pressure? Better to start at 16 working on it instead of waiting until later in life my friend.

Thanks for the help and I’m not to sure about a history it could be down to my rapid weight gain tbh

Yeh I’ve been eating lots of bad stuff as my anxiety and depression are really ruling my life ☹️

Been to the anxiety place and they referred me for a psychiatrist but ain’t seeing him till dec so yeh big long wait it’s been like 5 months so I’ve been in constant panic so guessing that’s the reason I’m taking beta blockers as heart beats super fast as I always Think about it
