I've been taking sertraline for my anxiety & depression for coming on 2 years this time. I've always took it when I wake up & had no problems with sleepiness. I was advised that it should help me to sleep, but unfortunately it's never helped me with that.
Thanks for your reply. I’m hoping this helps my mood, fingers crossed. I was going from such anger to helplessness that I was an emotional seesaw & my anxiety was out of control. I was also in denial about things.
It does ease things, but you will need to give it a couple of weeks to get in your system. I still have bad days, just not as low or as many. Hope it helps you.
Thank you, yes doc explained it will take a while. I guess it’s one of those things you don’t want to admit to your self. At the mo feeling quite sick as doc said I would, but it will pass.
I won't go too far into depth as it seems the talk above has it solved. Anytime a medication made me tired, my doc would say to take it at night. If it was harming my sleep, take it in the morning. You can ask your doctor about something like that. Eventually, a side effect like feeling tired may go away on its own as the medication is tolerated by the body. Hope this goes away quickly and best of luck!
