So I was doin fine for almost 2 weeks, no worries, less symptoms. I was literally coming along great! Then I started having these arm pains out of no where, which of course brings on my anxious thoughts. There goes me using google and searching up everything. I am so sick and tired of this. I’ve had this arm pain all day on and off. It was in my left arm from my shoulder to my fingers, now it is to my right arm just by my biceps though.
I’m not experiencing any other symptoms though so I’m quite confused & a little alarmed.
Haven’t had any acid reflux episodes today either.
I’m so tired of this.

Are you leaning your neck forward too much at the computer or on your phone? With both sides effected it’s usually a neck strain. Remember to occasionally sit straight up and put your head slowly back. The longer your working the more often do the opposing movement. Also a slow look side to side with help relieve the nerves. A little menthol rub or heat to the neck won’t hurt either. I like my massages when I have time.
I hope you are feeling better! If you haven't already, I recommend reading books by Dr.John Sarno. He is an expert on mind/body pain disorders and it might just help you deal with the pain you have been experiencing. He pretty much saved me from horrendous and continuous back pain. Many of his videos/interviews are on Youtube as well. Hope this helps!
Girl.. yes I had the exact same thing happen to me as well.. Anxiety was actually the cause of my arm pain though. Due to all the muscle tension I was experiencing. But I totally understand the hopping to google for answers because I catch myself doing the same thing. A cycle I’m trying to break because it makes my anxiety worse when I read all the different possibilities on google. Hang in there<3
Yes, my back pain was due to anxiety/depression/stress. Have had panic attacks/anxiety/depression off and on for 11 years and one thing I have learned is that there is not one physical condition that anxiety etc... CAN NOT produce. Research TMS, that is the basis of Dr.John Sarno's beliefs. It appears as if you have what he refers to as the symptom dynamic, in that your pain tends to travel around your body. The foundation of his belief is that the brain is causing mild oxygen deprivation in different parts of your body in order to cause pain. WHY would the brain cause pain for you? Because it does not want to deal with psychological issues which are too troubling and confusing. I am paraphasing all this and am in no position to diagnose you of course, but really think you should look into his research/books/videos. They have helped me a lot, I actually have a neuralgia in my head that my MD. feels is from tight muscles in my neck. That's the thing about anxiety, it tends to tighten up your body and then the pain starts up. Also, no that you are not alone no matter how isolated you may feel(not assuming that is the case though). It's always best to see a MD. who understands the role anxiety/depression play in pain to rule out anything. Try exercising, taking a relaxing walk, cup of tea, etc... I know its really really hard at times but you can make it through all this
