Help! 3 anxiety attacks in one day!

Help! Have had 3 anxiety attacks today and feel like #4 is not far behind. Normal meds aren’t working like they normally do. What can I do? I’m feeling very uneasy and nervous it’s going to happen again.

I'm so sorry you have had three anxiety attacks today and maybe a fourth one. Just having one attack can do me in for the day. Maybe since the regular meds aren't helping can you remove yourself from the area your at and get to a more quiet place and do something for you. Easier said than done. Hugs to you!

It probably sounds crazy but being alone makes me feel worse. I have a tendency to over google things which I know doesn’t help. It’s very exhausting

There are times I have a hard time being alone in the house now that it gets dark earlier. I agree that goggleing is not good but when your alone your mind wanders and you pick up the phone. I'll do it also. Can you go to any events/meetings where there are people to be with? I hope today has been better for you.

Hi Bee83, I agree with "All_alone in that this is the time for you to find

some quiet "me time". Medication can help only so much and then it is

up to us to provide our mind/body some inner peaceful thoughts.

When having multiple anxiety attacks, it's because of not letting go and

worrying about the "what ifs". Worrying about the next attack coming

only keeps the adrenaline up and you go into "free floating anxiety".

By turning to some quiet meditation and breathing you can lower the

adrenaline as well as quiet the mind from negative thoughts.

The following 3 meditations are only a few minutes long but can

allow your mind to de clutter and relax.

Find these on YouTube.

"1 minute Quick BreathMeditation/Let go of Stress & Anxiety"

by Jason Stephanson.

"Mindfulness-3 minute Meditation"

by The Honest Guys

"Sympathetic Breathing Meditation"

by the Quiet Mind Café

I hope this helps you. xx

Thank you so much. I didn’t think about adding other things. I just always assumed the medication would stop it
