A trying time ahead for me, slightly optimistic, but also worried.

Yes a big week ahead next week, I'm due two lots of different scan results, my first appointment is on Tuesday and the second one on Thursday, thank goodness its not Friday the 13th eh😏🫣.My first appointment is regarding a growth in my pelvic region, and the second one is about a lump in my neck area, I'm actually more concerned about the lump in my neck as this is the one that's still causing me discomfort, and it gets bigger every time I eat, this is a fairly new issue, as I've had a rather swollen neck for just a couple of weeks,originally it was really bad , and no longer the same size when it first appeared, I was that concerned at the onset I thought it would make my breathing a problem, and took myself to A&En 5 days of antibiotics and not told any results,but the appointment and results are ready next week all pretty quickly

The pelvic growth has been picked up from an old scan(2016) and has shown considerable amount of increase in size, roughly the size of a tennis ball , but I don't have any symptoms, but these scans are very hit and miss perhaps as my friend was suffering with kidney stones and they said he had no more to pass,the following week he was passing another one, but I'm unsure if they can pick up quite small stones, but they even picked up a " fatty growth " in my shoulder when having one of 4 scans, and the surgeon who was dealing with the scan has passed it over to another surgeon, possibly for a second opinion, or perhaps he's a more qualified surgeon at a different hospital, yes that's got my sensors up, well don't know what to expect,and could do with the answers now, it's been going on since May, fingers crossed I'll get some positive feedback 😊

fingers crossed. I saw a recent scan I had on my kidneys and originally my urologist said my left kidney was totally clear of stones after a recent operation. amazing... well, okay after seeing the scan ‘totally clear’ didn’t mean zero.

I hope you get positive news regarding your scans as soon as possible.

Hoping everything comes back well. I, too, have an appointment on Tuesday. I'm very much nervous. It's with my psychiatrist. He wants to see how I'm doing on the medication that I recently received but also a weigh in. I've been battling emetophobia and lost 20lbs in a month. My blood work is good. But he told me this drastic weight loss is a problem because I could have a heart attack and die. Which of course when you're already worrying about that, you need someone else to say that. He said if I drop to a certain weight, we have to talk about hospitalization. I haven't been hospitalized since I was 4 with pneumonia.

Lexapro when I first took it cause me to have my head in the toilet. But that was at 20mg. Which puking your guts out is not something with someone with emetophobia wants to do. I recently got a new prescription of Lexapro but for 5mg for 5 days. I don't know what to do cause I'm afraid. I had such high hopes for it to work the first time and when I got sick, it was devastating. I don't want the same thing to happen again. I'm hoping for things to work out.

I’m hoping everything turns out OK for you. I know how scary it is waiting for results. I’m going through the same. I have a lump in my leg which hurts a lot when you touch it. I have to go in for an MRI and then will have to play the waiting game. Sending good thoughts your way. If you’re up to it let us know how it turns out.
