Depression/anxiety and zyprexa (olanzapine)

Hello,

Did anyone of you tried zyprexa (olanzapine) low dose for anxiety and/or depression?

I think Olanzapine makes you depressed it is an anti psychotic very helpful.if you get audio hallucinations but for depression no it is no good

Anxiety I am not sure

If you want to go the natural route you could take evening primrose oil capsules and fish oil.capsules

Pregnant women.should NEVER take evening primrose oil - I know you are not pregnant Tommy but I am saying this just in case any women read this

I have depression with anxiety. My dr prescribed me half of 2,5 mg zyprexa (1,25 mg) combination with cipram and trankobuscas (I guess you don't have this one it is an antispasm med with some anti anxiety effects) . It is a very very low dose. I have been taking it for a month now and I can sleep like a baby.

After my prescription from forums I have learned sometimes they prescribe anti psychotics for a brief time if your anxiety is very strong with depression. But I am not sure how long I will be taking it.

Cipram dosage is 30.

So I wonder if anyone else is in this road.

Nothing psychotic.

Anxiety, restless mood and some depression.

Plus mourning/grief (lost my grandmother who has been aan half mother to me a month ago)
