New to this forum

Hello I am new to this group and I was just trying to make myself open to meeting individuals like myself that are all alone in this daily, lifetime battle with disabling illnesses that keep us from feeling loved and accepted and worthy by our families and people who thought they knew us but never really tried to educate themselves on our afflictions of the mind. I know that GOD did not create us this way to be all alone in our suffering . We deserve to be happy. We deserve to find love and friendships that are genuine. I am hoping that in this group I may be fortunate enough to help someone over a hurdle that I've already cleared on this journey and to perhaps meet someone who will understand what it is like to have so many obstacles and challenges to navigate with an un quiet mind and that they will want to be a friend that won't run away at the first sign of a challenge.

This is a fabulous community of people who understand the debilitating nature of depression and anxiety - and the daily struggle with sadness and fear. I’ve only been on the site for a month, but feel like I have gained a years worth of caring and support. Have also been fortunate to share my own experience, strength and hope with others.
