Anyone have inner conflicts about what time to go to bed and wake up (I guess those who have the freedom to choose)?
I tend to stay up late on most nights - can even stay up all night without a problem, but feel really guilty the next day about it for some reason. I feel like a slacker or something. Weird. And then I start wondering about getting a job - what would my schedule be like? I don't think I can do a regular 9-5 right now. I'm not good at getting up early in the morning even with 8 hrs of sleep.
Any thoughts?

Just wanted to add - I have observed that during the daytime I am absolutely chaotic mentally (see my other post), and at night when everyone goes to bed and everything calms the f--k down I am like in heaven. Totally able to focus, get stuff done, just blissful. I love it. I just feel guilty the next day because I feel like I'm going against the grain. Everyone else is up at a certain time and I'm just struggling to go along.
Maybe I should just move to an island away from everyone. See if things improve. Haha
Ive realised that i go to bed at sunrise..i can also stay up longer into the day..but yeah i get the guilt trip..but i think its my body clock..i dont think i could go to bed early and get up early in the morning,..especially for work..good thing is though sleeping patterns are easy to adjust..im a night owl, nocturnal..i dont see why not..
Yes. I am not a morning person so all my working life and having to get up early to go to work has always been a nightmare for me. But I have always had to work so have been forced to accept it. When I have had short spells of enemployment I have always reverted to my natural body clock which is as a late bird. Going back into employment I have always adapted though the first few weeks are hard. That's just life I'm afraid,
Maybe the sort of work which would suit you the best is one where you can start work later in the day?
Now I am retired I can do what I like thank goodness. x
