I barely got any sleep last night, I often have trouble sleeping but last night was worse than usual and had some anxiety about dying in my sleep due to a bit of a panic attack. Now for some reason, its kind of hard to explain the feeling, but i feel as though my heart feels weak? Not in the sense of an anxiety attack, I’ve had quite a few of those over the years, almost like the opposite. It feels like my heartbeat is almost faint, or not as strong as it should be. I know it’s probably anxiety making something out of nothing, but was curious if anyone’s ever noticed this after a bad nights sleep or a nighttime panic attack?

A weird feeling
Hi toshy I looked over your post and was amazed at the parallels with how bad my sleeping pattern last week I struggled to get much nights sleep about 2-3 hours being the norm! The panic attacks are a horrible part of mental health have you been to your doctor about how you are feeling if not its worth going the best piece of advice I can give you don't try and use Google to try and diagnose your self because people get worse with this as a result of incorrect imformation I wish you all the best 🙏
Thank you very much for your reply and that is very solid advice, I’ve been avoiding “Dr.Google”. Also it probably would be best to speak with a Doctor about this problem, it’s not something I’ve experienced before so it’s better to be safe than sorry.
It’s peculiar and interesting how you’re having a difficult week sleeping as well. There have been a couple times I’ve noticed a rise in anxiety/ depression symptoms among other users around the same time as myself. It makes me very curious about what the common theme could be? Hopefully for the both of us we get some good sleep soon.
Hi Shy,
I have experienced something similar, I sometimes feel like my heart doesn't beat at all, for some reason just feel so weak at that point. I had it while I was awake not like you in a night of sleep.
Sleeping generally is one massive desire in my case. I wish, I miss to be a normal again, fall asleep at some point in the evening, wake up in the morning. Sadly it doesn't work like that for me, for the last 3 years. There was a time when I couldn't fall asleep even with sleeping pills. Back to your topic- why it happens, I do not know. But something similar as you described- yes, I experienced as well.
