Just needing a way to get myself out of bed and started on the day, and restarting if I end up laying down again. Trying to stay away from drugs atm since I'm almost 8 mo pregnant (I'm okay making myself eat and not suicidal at all - - figure I'll get on a BF friendly antidepressant postpartum). I do ok if I can get out of bed at a decent time (say 7? But usually it's later since I'm not a morning person and sometimes we are out late) and take 2-3 hours to wake up, walk dog, and get dressed (not very practical so the earlier I get up the better) . I am not employed but have a variety of other responsibilities that I consistently put off, causing problems. I have some problems with delusional thinking /disorganized thought that makes it hard to focus on or do anything, I get overwhelmed easily, and have anxiety about leaving the house, talking on phone, etc. Most of my existing techniques involve trying to reward myself with something, but the increasing level of anehedonia makes this hard. Thanks for any advice or suggestions!

Hi Derpina. It sounds like you need to just cut yourself as much slack as possible for the next month, and then you can do whatever you need to break this cycle you're in. Maybe put a calendar on the wall and start checking off the days with a red marker. Do you have a list of all the things you need to do? That way you don't have to keep thinking about them because you can always refer to your list. I also find that when I write a list of goals my subconscious works on them in the background.
