Does any body take xanax for short term relief?

I know both medications help people however during my years doing EEGs I learned to really dislike Xanax. There are many of us in the field who think it’s too habit forming and could be and has been made different. Valium does not do the same thing to your brainwaves. However when you need help and you need it fast I believe in using everything at your disposal. Know that temporary is best.

I was prescribed xanax 0.25mg for short term relief but haven't took any cause of side effect and what it does to the body.

I was prescribed valium when i went to the hospital of not knowing I had anxiety I feel valium just make me sleepy and calms all the symptoms down and i wake up feeling okay.
