Two of my sisters have depression and bipolar they both take lithium for bipolar.
It is just anti-depressants you can't take with bipolar as they can trigger the mania but they are drugs which target bipolar such as respiridone or lithium or quietiapine and alprazolam and lamictal ; so it is only anti depressants you can't take.
