I always check samples online. Word has some templates too.
Hi have always been told told that employers are very busy so keep your resume short and to the point, ideally 1 page but maximum 2.
Put your experience first as this is what they are most interested in. Followed by your previous relevant jobs and your personal details. Good luck. x
I always have a small intro with my objective or professional goal and then bullet points of my strengths and then list all relative job experience and duties. I say education, salary requirements and references upon request at the end. Mine is two pages but I have 26 years in the same field as applying for so I list it all.
Thank you! This definitely helps. Xxx
One page.
Imagine you were interviewing applicants for this position. What are skills you'd need candidates to have? What are things you've done that demonstrate you have them.
One page.
Now a days when a resume is submitted, it is picked out by a computer program called “Application Tracking System”. Google it and learn how it works. Depending on what job you are seeking will determine buzz words you put in a resume. This is so the ATS will pick your resume for a real person to look at it, which is all of 8 seconds. One page for sure. I agree to look up templates and samples online. Good luck!
This site helps with CV and/or resume. It is good to have a CV, especially if you've ever been published.
As an employer for a small business I can just tell you the most important thing that I am looking for is someone who is going to stick around. I mean after initial qualifications.
