Accepting my anxiety

Today I woke up and for some reason whenever my anxiety tried to start with me telling me that I was going to pass out or that I am possibly overdosing on my medication and don't know it I just accepted it. I haven't bought it I haven't freaked out about it I've just accepted it hasn't been any easier question work I'm not sure yet but my body is just that a complete total state of melancholy. I'm not sad but I am also not happy I feel kind of leveled out and I cannot make myself freak out. I do not really know whether this is good or not or if this is how I need to act from now worn to keep myself from insanity or the fear of it anyways. I did have a 10 or 15 minute spanned of me questioning why I am here and then I was like do I really want to do be depressed? Or am I just trying to recover?

I don't know you guys, do you think this is part of recovery or am I just hitting a state of not caring anymore?....

Days for me suck, right now. So nights seem better i have had this episode now for a week and 1/2. Last night though i was doing something as simple as washing the dishes and i didnt worry. No anxious thoughts. Even cleaned my house a little. I don't question the worry free times I enjoy them. Just being is ok for now.

'Not caring' about anxiety is actually really healthy. It's what we all need to work toward. Not caring about anything would be a different matter. Sounds to me like you're doing okay.

I know of no alternative to acceptance for recovery. Resisting and fighting the bad feelings only causes more stress and strain adding to the sensitivity of the nervous system. It is what Claire Weekes called "masterly inactivity". Accept it for long enough and you will recover.
