Sertraline and Metronidazole

Hello.

I'm new to the forum, so bear with me.

I have been taking Sertraline for a number of years for anxiety and more recently for peri-menopause. However, I have been prescribed Metronidzole after dental work and have experienced dreadful effects. I have been emotional and teary and my question is, has any one on this forum experienced the same? I have tried to research this online but without much luck.
