Hi again
Are your siblings older or younger than you?
Is there a possibility that you were adopted?
There could be a number of reasons.
I am also very sorry about the shock you have experienced. But, in my opinion, you definitely have the right to know the answer. You are an adult now, and you are entitled to know who your parents are. I'm sure it won't be easy for your mother to discuss, but in my view you are doing nothing wrong by bringing this up with her.
Hey. I’ve been following your post. I’m just so sorry you have this hanging over you. I think we’ve established that you love your parents etc. But, you are entitled to know the truth, whatever that is. I can only imagine how excruciating this conversation is going to be with your mum and I think you’re brave to do it.
You mum will have had her reasons for keeping this from you - it may have been bad judgement on her part, or not. But you won’t know till you talk to her. Keep yourself right and be gentle. Good luck xx
