I recently had quite a busy weekend but something happened that nearly ruined. I don't want to go into detail on what it was, but something I searched up on the Internet triggered my emotions a bit and, as I drank more and more that weekend, it made me more anxious and depressed about what triggered me. Now I'm in complete despair and every time I think about it I nearly get breathless. Is this all just because of the drink thats made it worse? And how can I deal with it? Thanks

Drinking will definitely make anxiety and depression worst because it in itself is a depressant. I would say to keep reminding yourself that what you are feeling are just emotions and there will pass , try and do something to distract yourself from the situation like taking a walk or something positive that you enjoy doing . I would also suggest staying off of the internet until your anxiety and depression is under control, i personally used to stay on the internet looking up stuff and I didn’t even realize how much of a trigger it was it would make me feel 10 times worst .
