Any anti-anxiety/depression meds that DON'T cause arrhythmia or palps?

Admittedly, it's a bit of a long-shot but are there any meds of this type that don't cause arrhythmia or palpitations in people that suffer from afib?

If you've caught up with any of my questions on here in the last 12 months, you may know that I've had an ablation (20 months ago) but have been getting a lot of ectopics lately.

I'm having a lot of health problems in the past 9 months, it's seemingly some sort of neurological problem but lately things have become a lot worse, and as much as I've held out for a while, I'm struggling to keep it together and think that some form of medication could really help.

My wife goes away with her sister on Saturday for a nice, week-long holiday and I don't want her to be worrying, nor do I want to be worrying and getting overly stressed, while she's away. It's been a tough couple of years for us, with my health, my granddad, dad both passing away and now my aunt is seemingly very close to dying.

I want her to enjoy a break.

Similarly, we're supposed to be going away in June for 2 weeks, but due to my health issues it's likely that we're going to have to cancel. We had to cancel last year's holiday too, so I'm absolutely determined that she goes on holiday.

Wah, wah, boo-hoo, amirite? Anyway, haha. I've held it together pretty well for the most part but I'm really starting to feel like there may be a case of anxiety exacerbating things so if any of you guys know of, or have tried any, that don't interact or have minimal interaction with heart issues, it would be great to know.

I’m sorry you’ve been experiencing a lot of health problems.

I’m not sure which anti-anxiety/depression meds don’t cause arrhythmia or heart palpitations... but from my personal experience, Effexor put me in the ER multiple times because it spiked my BP into the sky.

Best of luck to you & I hope you find the best fit for you ✨

Dave look into Zoloft I’m currently on 100 mg a day but you may be started off on a lower dose as well I take Xanax I’m supposed to tame it every night but I don’t I only take it as needed. .25mg it’s a very low dose. Talk to your doctors both your cardiologist and psychiatrist as I’m assuming you are seeing.

Also do some research on them. I’m diagnosed with bipolar depression and anxiety but I also do have hypertension and high cholesterol runs in the family and I do take meds for my blood pressure and haven’t had any negative side effects with the other meds. But I k ow everyone is different.

Hope this has helped and best of luck !
