Have you ever read about Walsh protocol? It’s interesting and if you are against any medication, maybe this is something you can try. This is about our chemicals in the body, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, nutrients, etc. My son is suffering for so many years of depression, anxiety, OCD, and many more but he is against any medications; we tried before some but none of them worked. Now we are trying TMS, and we are about to do the lab tests to check his chemicals. I’m very hopeful that this will work for him 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻He is been in a vegan diet for more than 3 years now. He is 25 years old, doing nothing, not studying, not working, not doing anything at all, just surviving, in a bad mood, doing exercise as much as he can be he says he can’t, he is so tired all the time, eating compulsively and gaining weight of course. It’s too sad to see him like this and not being able to help him.

It's said...'you are what you eat'....and it's so true. Heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes.....etc.... why shouldn't our diet effect our brain chemistry as well. Low salt, low sugar, raw foods, live foods, low meat intake, balanced and smaller meals. Exorcise to release endorphins and strengthen the body.....all sounds good in a perfect world. The problem with most of us with depression is just being able to get up and be motivated enough to do a routine. Many of us are addicted to sugar, and food is often used to feed our feelings. There are just no easy solutions....and you can take a horse to water but you can't make them drink. It's really a personal journey with depression to find what helps and what does not. There is no magic pill or one solution fits all....I hope your son does find what he needs to help him cope with his depression, but you have to just let him find his own path sadly....it's hard for a parent to see a child in pain...even if they are a young adult...or any age.....
