Hi everyone, I'm new here. Since January I've been struggling with random panic attacks or anxiety attacks. I had come from a breakup and I think that's what had started it all. How do you deal with these attacks? All I wanna do is cry and I can't think at all. I feel extremely nauseous and my whole chest becomes tight

I take medication and do short guided meditations on various apps i have. The apps have “emergency anxiety” meditations, so that’s usually what I do, in addition to taking medication. I also go to a therapist which helps. I’m sorry you’re having a hard time. You are in good company here.
Hello
I know that panic attacks really suck. I have fought them for years along with other things. I do the normal stuff like take meds and go to a psychologist once a week but I never know when a panic attack is going to come on or how bad. It can be triggered by some memory or just come on for no reason. When I have one it feels like I am having a heart attack. About half the time I cry really bad. The only thing I can do to get through it is with my breathing and to get some good fresh air. Also if I am in a car I have to get out cause I can't handle the small space. So when one happens I have to (and this is easier with someone talking me through it) slow down my breathing and breath in through my nose, hold and then slowly out my mouth. It takes awhile sometimes to get through one and it is not easy at all.
I don't like to be out in public much cause I hate it when I have one in front of people.
So that is a bit of what I do and I am here if you want to talk
