I have been experiencing panic attacks very often and don't know what to do to cope until it passes. I feel like it's never going to pass and I will die or lose complete control of myself. Someone please share your experience?

What do you do during a panic attack?
Have you discussed this with your therapist? In the meantime, watch Dr. Claire Weekes' videos on YouTube.
I highly recommend listening to Claire Weekes on YouTube. In my case, I knew my panic was irrational so I practiced controlling my breathing, staying put rather than escaping, distracting myself with something and texting or calling someone to help calm me down. I also got on Lexapro, see a therapist every week, go to church and pray, go on walks and journal
Thank you I will try this asap
Panic attacks are the worse. Going through this myself. They say breath but hard for me to do when I’m in it. Feel better!!
I used to get panic attacks all the time at one point. They were very scary to me and I always felt like I was gonna die but knowing that they don’t last more than 15-25 minutes helps me. And also knowing that anxiety CANNOT kill you has helped me also. Take plenty of deep breaths, listen to your favorite music, take a bath
When a panic attack occurs right away look around you. Find 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and one thing you can taste.
