Abilify and weight-gain

Has anyone out there experienced weight-gain on Abilify? My psychiatrist says it makes you hungrier but I feel like it's making me retain weight more than just making me hungry. I gained almost 10 pounds over the Christmas holiday, then went on a higher dose of Abilify. Despite resuming my pre-Christmas diet and exercise I've stayed the same weight and even gained a little. It's really frustrating and depressing. Before Christmas I was loosing about 1.5 pounds a week.

Sorry this is somewhat OT. (The weight forum is dead; plus, the one time I posted there I got lectured by someone bent on promoting the ketogenic diet.) It IS depressing me and making me anxious... I started my weight-loss regimen last June when I found out I was pre-diabetic. I got my Ac1 to normal. Now I'm anxious about becoming pre-diabetic again (or diabetic).
