Inability to concentrate

I have inability to concentrate in books and lost interest to read .Does this sound similar?

Yes. I suffer from generalized anxiety disorder and depression, and I have so much trouble concentrating. I also often lose interest in things that I used to enjoy.

I have trouble concentrating most of the time because I'm so mentally and physically exhausted by my anxiety and depression.

me too,my problem is going on for the last 7 years and i have not found a way to get out of it

When in anxiety I've found the the anxiety is taking all of my focus so I can't focus outwardly. It takes practice, so I try to do things like meditative walks or showers or listening to an audiobook or podcast. Work also helps if you have work right now.
