I feel the same exact way sometimes and it really bothers me. If you ever want to talk about, I'm here.
How d you feel? Are there times you are able to concentrate or its just the same everytime. What are u being diagnosed with? What r u doing to manage this problem?
I always feel fidgety and anxious, which distracts me from a lot of things. When someone is talking to me, or teaching me at school for example, I always need something in my hands, whether it's scissors, a pencil, or something else. If I don't have something in my hands, my mind starts going off topic and I just can't concentrate. I try my best to pay attention, and I haven't done anything yet. I have not been diagnosed with for sure yet, but I'm thinking on the lines of anxiety.
it's a frustrating thing and sorry your going through that, I don't know if you can realate to this or not, but one of our girls has dyspraxia and dyslexia. She cannot concentrate on words, reading anything basically. She cannot comprehend or retain what she reads, but if she listens to the words, she understands perfectly. It's like if you draw a straight line from A to B...that's how most people retain what they read...but with our girl....like many others.... there is a very skribbly line between A and B. So she is going through college with special audio tools, laptop, recordings of lectures and gears her career goals around her own needs.
No,its not that
have you talked to a doctor to have a physical work up, or a therapist to also work out what may be going on with you?
Yes,but no improvement, they say its anxiety
Or depression
unless you are opposed to medication, there are good meds to help you. If you want to not take meds....there are a lot of posts here that talk about what people have done to manage both. I would really read what others have done to help themselves manage their anxiety and depression. Everyone is different so your best bet is to choose what works best for you out of what you read.
