Has anyone come of their meds before? Also, have you all tried natural remedies for anxiety?
I am currently coming off Lexapro 10mg ( I’m taking 5 now each day) I’m feeling better!!!
Also I started to take magnesium supplement (Calm) probiotic 50million (90% seratonin comes from the gut so I decided to see if it makes me feel any better and it did) I’m drinking stress relief Kava tea each day twice and I’m watching what I eat. Cut out coffee from my system. I also started this herb called ashwagandha each day and I’m taking 1280mg fish oil daily. I go to yoga and gym few times a week and I’m feeling like me again
The reason why I wrote this is because I didn’t want to be on medication anymore. I want to feel my emotions each day and not be numb to them. My psychologist is amazing and I see her once a week. She supports me. I listen to Anxiety Slayer each morning and they made me think about my own choices and how I need to watch out for myself.
Now I know not everyone is able to be without medicine and I get it. You are in charge and you know your own body.
Try to listen to your own body and see what it needs and what you can give your body each day. Feel good about your diet and you will hopefully see the change that will make you also feel much better.
