I tapered off over two months per my doctor since I was only on 5mg. I didn’t just stop, but I’m still having these withdrawal symptoms how long will they last?! Thank you for responding

Hi survivor, having gone off medication myself, I can say that this is

quiet normal to feel the effects for a while after you have stopped the

medication completely.

It shouldn't take to long for your brain to heal and adjust to not being

on meds anymore. You were on a low dose 5mg and for only 6 months.

Give it a little time and know each time you should feel some discomfort

that you are going in the right direction and will soon be completely

medication free. Your brain will start making the chemicals needed

on it's own. Good Luck...xx

Withdrawal is not easy and brain zaps are awful. I am experiencing them as well. Are you still experiencing them?
