Birthday Wishes...

Today I woke up thinking about my birthday, because it is today. I was thinking of the people in my life who are not here, and how much I miss them. What makes me laugh, is the memories I have are the little things that these people did on my birthday. How much I miss them, and the little acts of kindness are greatly missed. I remember that my dad would buy me a bouquet of flowers, my Aunt Connie would get my a card and underline the words to emphasize her feelings. Uncle Eddie and Uncle Joe always acting so excited to see me, and sitting down with them and talking while having a drink. My grandparents whom I miss very much, because no matter whom I was with, I always felt safe. Joking with Little Mario while he fixed my car, and so many more that are gone. I am not sad on my birthday, I am grateful I had those simple moments, because those little kindnesses were the best days of my life, I just wish I knew how precious those moments were.
