I am considering going off medication and on CES treatment as a stand alone treatment. Just feel that anti depressants doesnt do good for me.
Anybody with experience tell me if it works or just another gimmick?

What is CES please? x
Cranial Electro Stimulation.
Oh thank you. Never heard of it to be honest. x
Let me know how that works. I'm curious also.
Have your read info given by stress.org/education/ces
from St Mary's University St Antonio? Are you having this treatment privately?
We have portable models for home use in the Uk -the micro current therapy treatment is explained on the web site themicrocurrent.co.uk but though the percentage rate of success is said to be high over 75% I have not seen any research or trials - that is not to say there aren't any. The alpha-amylase levels of many people with anxiety and stress levels may be raised, and the treatment helps to prevent amyloidosis I believe.
There is no guarantee that there would be a 100 % success rate, as not everyone might have an amylase imbalance. I believe the information from St Mary's University says that the doses of medication may be reduced, if the treatment has improved the condition but do not know whether you can use this treatment as a stand alone treatment.
I don't think this is a waste of time but I would not want to try this treatment without
further information. If my anxiety and depression levels were so high I would try this if everything else had failed.
From South Africa, the device is a Swiss made Elexoma available locally and under guidance of a medical Doctor. Will see how it goes, as you say try anything.
That sounds great! Hope you can give feed back as it is not used routinely in the UK.
Let us know how it goes. This isn't widely used where I live ( in UK) but if works then go for it. Anything is worth a try in my opinion.
