New treatment for depression and ptsd

There is a new treatment out there for depression and ptsd. It is called ketamine or esketamine. I am currently getting ketamine infusions for my depression. I get an infusion every week for a total of 6 weeks. I have just had my 2nd infusion today and I feel pretty good. I was told after the 3rd or 4th that I will see results. I want to just get it out there that this is another option for people who can’t find relief from their depression or ptsd.

Just during the infusion my body felt heavy and floaty. I felt some dissociation but it was a good experience.

Thank you for sharing. I do want to try the ketamine infusions for major depression but its kinda pricey and my budget does really have room for it.

I am happy to hear that ut appears to be onvthe "helpful" road.

How pricey is it.

I live in CT and they are $550 per infusion. The recommended regimen s 3 the first week and 3 the second week. Depending on your response your DR will help determine your maintenance dose. I have my 1dt one this week.
