Stomach pain going on 4 straight days

Good afternoon and thank you for your concern. I recently had shoulder surgery and during my recovery went a few sleepless night and was afraid to go to sleep. I was prescribed Zanax to get through the rough times.... I felt kind of normal for a few days and then started experiencing sever stomach pain. Everything I could get my hands on directed me to the side effects of Wellbutrin. I quit taking them and was prescribed generic Zoloft. Since I have had dibilitating stomach pain. Anybody have any ideas?

No ideas, but I hope you heal from your surgery with ease.

Call your doctors immediately. If it is shoulder related or meds related, it is not a good thing. Is Zoloft the only med you are on? Do you take it with food?

Thank you for your reply! I quit my Wellbutrin cold turkey four days ago because of the terrible side effects... started sertraline the same day..... talked to my Dr and Therapist and think it is related to a mental pronlem but have referred me to a GI dr to be sure. Can’t say I feel great but today has been much better..... I had to take a Xanax this morning. Xanax tends to settle my stomach to Enough to get to work. I also have not been able to eat in the mornings..... I was prescribed 25 milligrams of sertraline following my quitting the 300 mg of Wellbutrin
