Magnesium and Anxiety question

Hello all.

I’ve been having trouble with my legs aching very badly at night and was told to try taking some magnesium for it.

When I did some research I saw that it also could help with anxiety.

I’m already taking Prozac for my depression and anxiety but since I have to take this for my aching legs I thought, “heck, it could help with my anxiety too...why not try it?”

So I was wondering what your guys experience was if you’ve tried it and what kind I should get and what not as I know that too much magnesium can give you some stomach troubles.

Thanks!

I took the pills for leg muscle soreness from working out & didn't notice anything with my depression but it does indeed cause tummy problems 😏. I switched to taking baths with mag salt & that helped.

Yeah, I was thinking about doing an epsom salt bath before bed.

Thank you!
