Can a person be a trigger for anxiety attacks? Or is it just the history and knowledge if it all that clouds the mind triggering an attack? How do you make it stop when u have to see this person everyday?

It can be anything, a person, a place, an action or sound. Anything can be a trigger that sends you right back to the moment. You need to work with a therapist that will teach you some serious coping skills. CBT therapy, or mindfulness techniques. It is hard work, but worth the effort.
Thank you. I have heard of this type of therapy before. I'm barely coming to terms with the fact that it is someone that is triggering my anxiety, but I will definitely look into getting some help now.
I have a roommate which is a severe trigger for my anxiety and paranoia. Just when I am calm and starting to do well...she threatens me to the point of no return. Shes very symptomatic and doesnt take her mediation which makes it worse. But the residential housing I live in won't separate us.
I'm so sorry you have to live like that. Our homes are supposed to be a sanctuary for us not make us feel trapped. Is there nothing more you can do to be paired with someone else? I hope you can find a way around it.
